한중일 국제 애니메이션 협업 및 공동학위과정 개설

프로그램 목적

  • 애니메이션 영역에서의 국제협업 및 글로벌 창작 인력 육성
  • 영상, 뉴미디어 기술과 기법, 표현방법에 대한 최신 교육 제공
  • 현장-학교의 협력을 통한 실기능력 배양과 지식을 갖춘 인재 양성
  • 한중일 협업을 통한 국제 애니메이션 교육 허브 설립

○ 디지털 미디어 시대의 애니메이션과 새로운 교육의 필요성

  • 예술과 기술의 융합이 가속화되는 디지털 미디어 시대의 애니메이션은 전통적인 애니메이션의 범주를 벗어나 다양한 스펙트럼으로 분화된다. 사실적/비사실적 이미지, 사운드, 텍스트가 결합된 애니메이션은 영상 뿐 아니라 게임, 시뮬레이션, 교육, 출판, 전시, 공연에 이르기까지 다양한 분야로 확산되고 있다.
  • 애니메이션은 전통예술과 첨단기술의 가장 섬세한 결합으로 이루어져 있으며, 미래의 애니메이션 인재를 육성하기 위해서는 조형예술, 인문학, 미디어 테크놀로지를 모두 아우르는 제작과정과 방법론에 대한 교육이 필요하다.

○ 애니메이션 교육을 선도하는 혁신적인 세 대학

  • 한국예술종합학교, 도쿄예술대학, 중국전매대학은 기존 애니메이션 산업에 종속되지 않고 다방면에서 활약할 수 있는 혁신적인 크리에이터를 양성하기 위해 애니메이션 제작과 교육에서 선도적인 역할을 하고 있다.
  • 예술과 기술의 결합이라는 모토아래 지속적으로 새로운 미디어 테크놀로지를 도입, 교육하고 있으며, 2010년부터 조기국제교류를 시작하여 미래의 글로벌 리더들을 양성하기 위해 노력하고 있다.
  •  Three innovative universities leading animation education

– Korea National University of Arts, Tokyo University of Arts, and China Electric Media University play the leading role in animation production and education in order to train innovative creators who are not dependent on the existing animation industry but can play an active role in various fields.

– Under the motto of the combination of art and technology, they are constantly introducing and training new media technologies. They are also striving to cultivate future global leaders by starting international exchanges from 2010.

  • International Animation Collaboration and Short-term Education Program   – The first international collaboration in 2010 between the Korea National University of Arts and the Tokyo University of the Arts was expanded to Korea-China-Japan collaboration when China Electric Media University joined in 2012. 

       – Each year, one university will be selected from the three universities, and the participating students will form a united team consisting of three countries, working together throughout the entire animation production process starting from pre-production, through main-production and post-production collaboration to the showing of the completed work. 

       – The International Collaboration Course is held for three to four months in the regular curriculum of the three schools, and students are awarded credits according to the regulations of the relevant school.

       – Students participating in short-term exchange program will make progress in both production and research fields through activities such as dedicated workshops on new media technologies and techniques, visits to international festivals related to media contents, and making presentations in conferences and forums.

  • Expected effect– Practical courses of the international collaboration throughout the process of animation production, from concept to production and presentation, are regarded to have highly original and educational values that are rare in international cases.

    – Korea, China, and Japan are the most educated countries in Northeast Asia. By fostering creative and innovative global talents through cooperation in international animation between Korea, China, Japan. Establishment of joint degree course and strengthening the interchanges between them will soon bring the center of animation production and education to Asia.

Internship

– To provide virtual cubic workshop graduates the opportunities to serve as assistant or guidance personnel in the same workshop in the future 

– To operate internship program in production companies in the fields of media contents animation
